According to analysis, it is estimated that ChatGPT had 100 million active users in January, just after two months of its launch. For comparison, it took nine months for TikTok to reach 100 million. This premium service costs $20 per month which is quite affordable.

ChatGPT is basically Natural Language Processing (NLP) which runs on a language model architecture created by OpenAI called the Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT). Generative AI models are trained using a large data set from the internet, including websites, books, news articles, and more. The language model was fine-tuned using machine learning techniques like supervised learning as well as reinforcement learning.
