ChatGPT - a powerful Chatbot for every needs

ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence based chatbot developed by OpenAI and ChatGPT is based on GPT-3.5. ChatGPT has a noteworthy skill to work together with conversational dialogue form and give nearly human responses. This model can answer questions, and assist the user for tasks such as composing emails, essays, and code. GPT is the acronym for Generative Pre-trained Transformer which is an autoregressive language model released in 2020, which uses deep learning to generate human like text. The quality of the text generated by the third generation GPT is so high that it is difficult to identify whether the text is written by a human being or computer generated. ChatGPT which is a neural network machine learning model requires limited amount of input text to generate large amount of appropriate and sophisticated information as machine-generated text.

ChatGPT was launched as a prototype on November 30, 2022, and quickly acquired attention for its detailed responses and articulate answers across many domains of knowledge. A significant drawback of ChatGPT is its irregular factual accuracy. An advanced version of ChatGPT was released recently on March 14, 2023 and is available for paid users. ChatGPT which is basically a chatbot which can mimic a human conversation is capable of write and debug computer programs, compose music, write poems, and songs, play games like tic-tac-toe etc. ChatGPT's training dataset includes information about internet and programming languages like Python.

According to Elon Musk, who was one of the co-founders of ChatGPT, "ChatGPT is scary good? We are not far from dangerously strong AI". Chief of OpenAI, Sam Altman tweeted that ChatGPT had more than 1 million users in the first five days after it launched. According to analysis, it is estimated that ChatGPT had 100 million active users in January, just after two months of its launch. For comparison, it took nine months for TikTok to reach 100 million. Anyone can access ChatGPT by visiting and by creating an OpenAI account. After sign in, you can start chatting away with ChatGPT. You can start your conversation by asking a question. As ChatGPT is still in the developmental phase, it is free to use for limited number of chats you initiate. For unlimited access there is a professional plan called ChatGPT plus which allows users to have general access even during peak hours to experience faster response times, and have priority access to new features and improvements. This premium service costs $20 per month which is quite affordable.

ChatGPT is basically Natural Language Processing (NLP) which runs on a language model architecture created by OpenAI called the Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT). Generative AI models are trained using a large data set from the internet, including websites, books, news articles, and more. The language model was fine-tuned using machine learning techniques like supervised learning as well as reinforcement learning. The use of Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) is what makes ChatGPT especially unique. Through RLHF, human AI trainers provided the model with conversations in which they played parts, the user and AI assistants, according to OpenAI. ChatGPT is a language model created to hold a conversation with the end user. A search engine indexes web pages on the internet to help the user find the information they asked for. ChatGPT does not have the ability to search the internet for information. It uses the information it learned from training data to generate a response, which leaves room for error. Another major difference is that ChatGPT only has access to information up to 2021, whereas a regular search engine like Google has access to the latest information. So if you ask ChatGPT who won the World Cup in 2022, it wouldn't be able to give you a response as Google would.
